CARL
Carl decided to become a licensed veterinary technician after working in the motorcycle industry for quite some time. He started off as a kennel and veterinary assistant, until graduating from Vatterott College in 2007. Carl is also the lead trainer for the front end of The Pet Clinic, where he helps train and coach all licensed veterinary technicians and veterinary assistants on working with clients and patients in exam rooms, as well as filling prescriptions in the pharmacy. His long term goal is to achieve certification in dog training and behavior. Carl is currently a member of The Society of Veterinary Behavior Technicians. He loves helping people better understand their dog and give them current and positive techniques to modify their dogs’ behavior due to noise phobias, fear, anxiety, separation anxiety, aggression towards humans or other dogs, sensitivities to handling and or nail trims. Growing up, he had many types of animals, dogs, ducks, parakeets, hamsters, lizards, you name it! Carl has three wonderful children, and a beautiful wife of 10 years, as well as a 7 year old smooth coated collie named Daisy. His free time is spent with his family, fly fishing, hiking, camping, working on classic cars or his archery skills.
